Status: Trying to move between notes cleanly

I only put in 45 minutes today as it went really well. I managed to easily get through Yankee Doodle along with the metronome, and I also managed 2 clean runs of the other two songs along to the metronome as well (after a lot of practice) so I think I am now ready to move on to lesson 4. I went through all the chords as well, but I didn’t do the chord versions of the songs as that makes no sense, it sounds nothing like the song so I don’t see the point, give me a dedicated chord exercise and I will do it, but strumming along to the notes of an actual song yet butchering it as you are using random chords for it… it isn’t playing the song and isn’t doing a chord exercise, so I’ll wait for lesson 5 which is packed full of chord exercises.

So tomorrow I move onto lesson 4 which then gives me use of all 6 strings.
