Time spent learning/practising: 13.5hrs
Status:Trying to move between chords faster and between notes faster
Today I did around 35 minutes so I rounded it down to 30 for the tracker above. I was still not playing at the same level as Monday, but it went much better than yesterday. I went back to basics today and did the string exercises first, then went onto the songs afterwards, I also put in a good 5 – 10 minutes on chords as well which went reasonably well. My fingers are starting to peel a bit now which I am guessing is a good thing…? And they definitely don’t seem as ‘squishy’ as when I first started.
I think I am going to move onto lesson 3 tomorrow, I can’t do lesson 2 perfectly yet, but I think having some more songs to practice and some more strings to use will make practising more fun again, at the moment an hour is a long time to practice two songs for, I’ll have a total of 5 after lesson 3. Lesson 2 was supposed to take 2 weeks but I am moving on after just over 1, that means later on when I really struggle with something then I have a extra week spare to use. In lesson 3 I also get some more chords to learn which I am hoping will help me learn to change between chords better.
